Urgent Membership Renewals

During the Covid lock down period membership’s were effectively extended as it was felt charging people who couldn’t actually legally access or play wasn’t very user friendly. As the lock down has ended and we return to normal we have been working through this to get everyone back up to date.

We now have about 30 members who have not renewed. Some of you may have wandered off to new pursuits and therefore do not intend to renew. However, from the door records and booking records others although still using the facility haven’t renewed.

It isn’t fair on those that are renewing to allow this to continue and reminders and chasers have been sent out to all asking for them to correct the position. If in doubt you can check behind the bar and they will help you renew immediately.

We now need to close this off so anyone who has not renewed by 30th April will have their access to the courts via their fob turned off and their My Courts record deleted.

I am happy to speak to anyone who feels this is unreasonable. We want you as part of the Club however to maintain standards and to continue to invest in trying to improve them we need everyone to pay their way.

To the majority of you that this does not apply to thank you very much for supporting us through the recent difficult period and I sincerely hope that we come out of it all in a stronger position as the pandemic has undoubtedly made us examine what we do and how and try to improve.

On that note we will be calling for people interested in playing for the teams next season and generally trying to maximise the opportunities in the Internal Boxes and promoting healthy competition and mixing.

It is more enjoyable to play a range of people as it challenges you to leave your comfort zone so now the worst of Covid is hopefully behind us it would be great to see more of you joining in and generally giving it a go.

Thank you for your support.
