Squash Club Re opening on Wednesday 2nd December

The Squash Club is re opening in line with the latest SRA guidance on play from Wednesday 2nd December. Please go to the SRA Web site for the full details although the URL and a high level summary is attached below.

England Squash - Guidance for clubs, venues and coaches

Please note the Main Club is not open until further notice, again in line with Government guidance on Tier 2 areas.

In short:-

Single player practise is allowed.
Same households or support bubbles can play normally.
Different households in a squash bubble can play sides or socially distanced practise.
Coaching is permitted in line with the previous guidelines as repeated on the Web site.

Please note all of the previously issued social distancing and hygiene protocols have to be adopted again. We are an unmanned site apart from the cleaning regime so please assist us by using the gel and anti septic wipes and sprays as previously.

We are all in this together and disciplined adherence to the guidance will keep us all safe and playing.

You are welcome back.

Please go carefully out there but feel free to come down and bash the little black ball whenever you feel the need.

If you have any issues or queries please come back to me and I will try to clarify the position and if you ask a complete humdinger I will revert to the SRA and ask for their advice. Any revelations subsequently returned to us will be shared with all.

The situation is evolving and I am trying to keep you abreast of where we are and what we can do. If there are any significant changes advised to us we will advise you as soon as we can. Please bear with us as we re open Wednesday whilst the official guidance is still being written and revised so this is a tad difficult to keep on top of but everyone on the Committee is doing there best to get you back playing, where you want to, whilst being as safe as we practically can be.

Regards
