We have now installed a defibrillator in the squash club, it is housed in a cabinet in the hall way next to the fuse boards. This defibrillator is for use by the whole club. Access to it from the main club and bars will be via the stage door into the squash area. Please make yourselves aware of its location and possibly take a few minutes to think about what you would need to do if you were the only one who was available should it be require in an emergency. There is a user booklet in the cabinet, sections 3-2, 3-3 and 3-4 are the most relevant sections showing what to do. (Please ensure the booklet is kept in the cabinet at all times) The intention is to look into arranging some training in the near future, although the unit will, I believe, prompt the user as required. If you know of any suitable/trained professional who would be prepared to run a training session on the use of a defibrillator (1 hour max), please let me know and I will get it arranged.
