Court 2 repairs

L&G’s,

We have had to do temporary repairs on the Court 2 Front Wall plasterwork once more.

I am afraid it is decision time as we are out of the bespoke plaster we use and any further repairs are not going to do so well because of this. Add to that the wall has reached the stage where major renewal is required and we have to decide what we do next.

Do we get it re plastered or go for the new modular system similar to Court 1. I would appreciate your views please and we will run with the majority.

Some background the modular system costs about £4k and comes with a 10 year guarantee. To re plaster the front wall will be about £2k or possibly a little more and doesn’t come with any guarantees but tends to last about 2 years although due to the movement issues with the front wall we don’t always get that length of time without having to patch it. Clearly from a cost perspective the modular system is a better option. The negatives are the more noise produced by the modular system and some people say it doesn’t play as well however I couldn’t personally say I necessarily agree with that albeit I accept it is slightly different bounce but from my perception it is more predictable.

Please reply by Friday 12th May to my home e mail rich6061@virginmedia.com and we will then decide what to do. If the feedback is contentious or split down the middle we will hold an open meeting of all interested parties and have a debate.

I recall the introduction of the on line booking system was a hot potato at one point but my only regret now is not doing it earlier.
