Squash Courts Lights Court 1 - Saturday 4th March

L&G The lights on Court 1 need renewing. For those of you who have been around a while you will know the drill we need a small team to effect the changeover. The time consumer is not changing the lights themselves but getting the access scaffold platform out from under the stairs, building it then doing the changeover and then dismantling it and putting it back. I propose we meet at the club at 4pm on Saturday 4th March to change them out before Club Night. Ideally I need about 4/6 “volunteers”. A bit like the marines dismantling and re assembling the gun against the clock at the Horse of the Year show (Showing my age again – Ask your Dad he’ll explain) it will be a timed run. The usual fee of a beer in the bar after Club night will apply. Lastly, I think I would like to change the lights out for LED equivalents and am going to investigate the costs of this for the next occasion this is needed. Again due to the height, access is a key consideration however many modern contractors will have their own easy access systems. Anyone with any knowledge in this area or contacts who do it please let me know. Can anyone that can make it on the 4th please let me or Brian Fielding know. We do need at least 4 people or it takes too long, 6 is ideal as we can whip through it very quickly.
