We have acquired this week sufficient old style tubes to replace the lights on Court 2, thanks to Graham Healing I believe. At least 3 of them are currently out and the others are long since past their prime so it needs doing. I propose we do it this Saturday night 13th May at 4pm before Club Night and I need 4/5 volunteers to assist. We have recently practised on Court 1 so it should be even slicker this time, the usual fee of the Club buying a round of drinks in the bar after Club Night will apply.

Last time Count Vosky and myself did the honours up top so if you fancy the glory spot on top of the scaffold we will step aside and join the ground crew. If I can’t get at least 4 I’ll abort the mission and re schedule with more notice. Obviously as the lights gets dimmer we may have to start wearing miners helmets but fortunately due to recent government initiatives there are plenty of them on the second hand market…..
