Berkshire Winter League Team Squash 2026/27 at Burghfield Squash Club

The Berkshire Winter Season starts on Thursday September 24th and we have entered two teams in the Thursday Night Leagues.  We have not entered a Vets Team this year and will focus on turning out two competitive teams on Thursday’s.

We are in Division 2 and 4.

We still struggle to find sufficient available team players so I’m keen to recruit some new talent to the cause.  The 1st Team are eager to put out strong sides this year and push for promotion, equally if the 1st Team is strong we need the top end of the 2nd Team to step up so in the event of having to play in the 1st Team they are ready.

The Club has room for more team players and greater competition would be welcome. If you know of anyone that may be interested in joining us please point them in our direction.

All of that being said people don’t need to be a superstar to join us, there is room for learners and social players to give squash a go.  We have the Box Leagues which are free to play for members and progression in them can lead to Team Squash but equally if you just want to bash a ball with your mates come and join us.  You are very welcome.

With the advent of Padel and Pickle there is still a place for Squash and we are markedly more accessible and considerably cheaper to play.
